As Sun Valley Solar Solutions celebrates 20 years of helping Arizona homeowners save money and improve their energy resilience, we’re giving one Arizona homeowner the chance to win a Tesla Powerwall 3 with Standard Installation included. Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of the giveaway prize is $17,500 based on a qualifying Standard Installation as defined below.

Thank you for entering the SVSS 20th Anniversary Powerwall Giveaway.
Because every home and electrical system is unique, the exact scope of installation cannot be fully determined without a complete onsite inspection and engineering review. Factors such as existing electrical infrastructure, repairs, AHJ-mandated safety equipment, equipment location, permitting requirements, utility conditions, and homeowner customization requests can all impact the final installation scope and cost.
In addition, homes with existing solar systems, batteries, third-party electrical equipment, or an electrical service larger than 200 amps may require additional integration work, modifications, reconfiguration, or equipment not included within the Standard Installation scope.
For that reason, the giveaway prize includes what Sun Valley Solar Solutions defines as a “Standard Installation,” outlined below.
By entering, participants acknowledge and understand the following:
The prize includes:
- One (1) Tesla Powerwall 3 battery
- One (1) Tesla Backup Switch (200A panel or smaller)
- Standard wall-mounted installation*
- Standard permitting and inspection*
- Standard electrical interconnection*
- Standard commissioning and system activation*
- Installation at a qualifying owner-occupied residential property located within Sun Valley Solar Solutions’ normal Arizona service territory
- Full 10-year OEM warranty
- SVSS 10-year workmanship warranty
*For purposes of this giveaway, “Standard” refers to a straightforward residential battery installation in which the existing home electrical infrastructure is compatible with the Powerwall 3 system without requiring upgrades, construction, remediation, or additional non-standard labor, and where the battery is installed adjacent to, or directly behind on the opposite interior wall of the home’s main electrical panel.
In addition, “standard” installation is limited to qualifying homes within Sun Valley Solar Solutions’ normal Arizona residential service territory. Homes located more than 50 miles from Sun Valley Solar Solutions’ headquarters at 3225 N. Colorado Street, Chandler, Arizona may require additional trip charges, travel fees, or other installation-related costs not included within the Standard Installation scope.
Additional Work May Be Required
Some homes may require upgrades, modifications, or additional labor that fall outside the Standard Installation scope. These additional costs are not included in the giveaway prize.
Examples of non-included work may include:
- Main electrical panel or electrical service repairs, upgrades, or replacement
- Non-standard utility or electrical service integration, including homes with electrical services larger than 200 amps
- Meter or utility equipment upgrades
- Structural modifications
- Local AHJ-mandated safety equipment
- Roofing repairs or modifications
- Trenching or long conduit runs
- Detached structure installations
- Generator integration
- Existing solar system or battery integration and/or modifications
- Internet or networking work
- HOA fees or special AHJ permitting costs
- Code correction work
- Unsafe or inaccessible installation conditions
- Pre-existing cosmetic, drywall, stucco, or paint repairs unrelated to the Standard Installation scope
- Homes located more than 50 miles from SVSS headquarters
Site Inspection & Engineering Review Required
Installation of the prize and final assessment of any additional work as outlined above is subject to:
- Site inspection
- Engineering review
- Utility approval
- Permitting approval
- Determination by Sun Valley Solar Solutions that the property is suitable and safe for installation
Additional Costs
If the selected property requires work outside the included standard installation scope, the winner may:
- Approve and pay the additional costs required for installation, or
- Decline the prize.
No Cash Value or Substitutions
The giveaway prize is non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash or alternative products or services.
Taxes
The winner is solely responsible for any applicable local, state, or federal taxes associated with prize acceptance.
Final Determination
Sun Valley Solar Solutions reserves the right to determine final installation scope, equipment placement, and project eligibility based on safety, engineering, utility, and permitting requirements.
If utility, permitting, HOA, engineering, or safety requirements prevent installation at the selected property, Sun Valley Solar Solutions reserves the right to disqualify the property from installation eligibility.
By submitting an entry, participants acknowledge that they have read and understand these installation terms and conditions.
Eligibility
Subject to the additional restrictions outlined in these Official Terms & Conditions, the SVSS 20th Anniversary Powerwall Giveaway (“Giveaway”) is open to legal residents of the United States who are 21 years of age or older at the time of entry and who own and reside in a qualifying owner-occupied single-family residential home located within Sun Valley Solar Solutions’ normal Arizona residential service territory.
Entrants must have the legal authority to approve electrical and construction-related improvements at the property submitted for installation consideration. Multi-family properties, apartments, condominiums without required installation authority, rental properties, mobile homes, RVs, manufactured homes, and commercial properties are not eligible.
Homes must be reasonably suitable for Powerwall 3 installation as determined by Sun Valley Solar Solutions through site inspection, engineering review, utility approval, permitting approval, and safety assessment.
Employees of Sun Valley Solar Solutions, participating promotional partners, affiliated companies, advertising agencies, and members of their immediate families or households are not eligible to enter.
Limit one (1) entry per household. Duplicate or automated entries may be disqualified at the sole discretion of Sun Valley Solar Solutions.
No purchase necessary to enter or win.
Communications Consent
By submitting an entry, participants expressly consent to receive communications from Sun Valley Solar Solutions and its representatives, including phone calls, emails, and text messages related to the Giveaway and other solar, battery, roofing, and energy-related products or services. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Participants may opt out of marketing communications at any time.
Everybody Wins Offer
As a thank-you for participating, all eligible entrants who do not win the Grand Prize may receive access to the following promotional offers from Sun Valley Solar Solutions:
- $300 off the purchase and installation of a Tesla Powerwall 3 system.
- $1,000 off the purchase and installation of a qualifying residential solar or solar + battery system
These promotional offers are available to eligible entrants who submit a valid entry during the promotional period and who enter into a qualifying purchase agreement with Sun Valley Solar Solutions within sixty (60) days following the close of the promotion on June 28, 2026.
These promotional offers:
- Are non-transferable
- Have no cash value
- May not be combined with certain other promotions or discounts
- $1,000 solar + battery offer applies only to new residential solar energy system installations and does not apply to solar panel additions, expansions of existing systems, service work, or standalone equipment upgrades.
- Are subject to standard site evaluation, utility approval, product availability, and installation scheduling
Sun Valley Solar Solutions reserves the right to modify, substitute, or discontinue promotional offers at any time without notice where permitted by law.
Winner Selection Period
Potential winner selection will occur after June 29, 2026. Following initial selection, Sun Valley Solar Solutions will conduct eligibility verification, site inspection, engineering review, and installation qualification assessment to confirm that the selected property meets all installation, engineering, permitting, utility, and safety requirements.
The potential winner must respond to the initial notification within five (5) calendar days or may be disqualified at the sole discretion of Sun Valley Solar Solutions.
Sun Valley Solar Solutions anticipates completing the preliminary site evaluation process on or about Friday, July 10, 2026 (subject to winner availability). Following completion of the site evaluation and final installation assessment, the selected winner will have five (5) calendar days to accept the final installation scope and any applicable additional costs not included within the Standard Installation scope.
Failure to respond, accept the installation terms, or complete required documentation within the required 5-day timeframe may result in prize forfeiture and selection of an alternate winner at the sole discretion of Sun Valley Solar Solutions.
Sun Valley Solar Solutions reserves the right to conduct additional verification, redraw a potential winner if necessary, and confirm final installation eligibility prior to public winner announcement.
Winner Announcement & Promotional Release
The verified winner is expected to be publicly announced on or after July 15, 2026, including through promotional partnership channels such as Rosie On the House, subject to winner verification, installation qualification, scheduling, and broadcast availability. The winner may be asked to participate in a live studio appearance, phone call, recorded interview, photography session, video recording, or other promotional activities related to the Giveaway.
By accepting the prize, the winner grants Sun Valley Solar Solutions and its promotional partners the right to use the winner’s name, city of residence, likeness, voice, photographs, video, statements, and installation-related images or footage for promotional, advertising, marketing, social media, website, radio, print, and other business purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
Winner also acknowledges and agrees that Sun Valley Solar Solutions may photograph, video record, and otherwise document portions of the installation process and completed Powerwall 3 installation for future promotional and marketing materials.
