Phoenix, AZ (October 2, 2014) - Volta Industries LLC (Volta) and Sun Valley Solar Solutions announced a partnership to provide free-to-use electric vehicle charging stations to citizens throughout the greater Phoenix metro area.

Starting this October, residents will have access to a network of 100% free-to-use electric vehicle charging stations, compliments of a partnership between Volta and Sun Valley Solar Solutions. Sun Valley’s sponsored stations are located in four of the city's busiest retail centers, including Scottsdale Quarter (15037 N Scottsdale Rd), Ahwatukee Foothills Towne Center (4711 E Ray Rd), Paradise Village Gateway (10655 N Tatum Blvd), and Arrowhead Crossing (7553 W Bell Rd).

“Volta’s vision is to improve cities and inspire people about the future of energy and transportation," says Scott Mercer, Volta’s Founder and CEO.

"Partnering with Sun Valley Solar Solutions makes perfect sense for us. Together, we’re providing free charging to the community and sharing the story about how easy it is to drive in sunshine daily, " Mercer continued.

Founded in 2006 by two former Intel engineers, Sun Valley Solar Solutions has grown quickly to become one of the largest Arizona-based solar panel installation companies, serving businesses and residents throughout the state.
