SVSS and Volta have teamed up to bring free EV charging to Scottsdale Quarter, Ahwatukee Foothills Town Center, Paradise Valley Gateway, and Arrowhead Crossing
Phoenix, AZ (October 2, 2014) - Volta Industries LLC (Volta) and Sun Valley Solar Solutions announced a partnership to provide free-to-use electric vehicle charging stations to citizens throughout the greater Phoenix metro area.
Starting this October, residents will have access to a network of 100% free-to-use electric vehicle charging stations, compliments of a partnership between Volta and Sun Valley Solar Solutions. Sun Valley’s sponsored stations are located in four of the city's busiest retail centers, including Scottsdale Quarter (15037 N Scottsdale Rd), Ahwatukee Foothills Towne Center (4711 E Ray Rd), Paradise Village Gateway (10655 N Tatum Blvd), and Arrowhead Crossing (7553 W Bell Rd).

Metrics
- Stations provide an average of 11 hours of use per station, with a range of 20-25 miles of range per hour
- 65 stations are currently installed in Honolulu, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Phoenix, with plans for 500 stations nationwide in the next year
- Stations have given away more than 1,000,000 electric miles and offset 300,000 gallons of gasoline to date
